Beaches



The more than 30 beaches of Curaçao are located along the southwest coast of the island, where the waters are calm and crystal clear and the sand is very white.



Diving



Curaçao is the largest of the ABC Islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao) and it is home to some of the most bio-diverse reefs in the Caribbean. The sheltered southern coast is rich in coral, and suitable for divers of all levels, with little in the way of adverse conditions at any of the popular dive sites. Divers and snorkelers never seem to be able to stop talking about the beauty of scuba diving Curacao. In the annual Scuba Diving Magazine Readers' Choice Awards, Curaçao has been recognized numerous times as one of the "Best Overall Caribbean Dive Destinations".



Golf



Curaçao is an island in the Caribbean that is very popular with Dutch people and has increasingly emerged as an ideal destination for a perfect golf holiday in recent years. The sun almost always shines, the golf courses often offer beautiful views of the ocean and the wind always has a surprising influence on the game. Shete Boka National Park



The Shete Boka National Park is an area adjoining the Christoffel Park covering almost 10 kilometers of the rocky wave-exposed north coast of the island. The park has approximately 10 pocket bays where 3 species of sea turtles are known to lay eggs. A detailed map of the pocket bays is available for purchase at the entrance of the park.



Sky diving



kydiving is the ultimate adrenaline rush! Attached to an experienced instructor you jump from 10,000ft (approx. 3km) altitude from a small Cessna plane with a fall speed of 200km/h. Then the parachute opened and you can enjoy the total silence and beautiful view over Curacao! A unique sensation in a crystal clear sky. You can look out over almost the entire island! An experience you will not soon forget.



Christoffel Park



Christoffel Park is the largest national park in Curaçao and is a must-see on the holiday. The park has a rich variety of local flora and fauna including wild orchids, the Palabrua, the rare native barn owl or the white-tailed deer.



Shopping



In addition to all the great market stalls in Punda and Otrabanda, you will also find many great (brand) stores and souvenir shops. But Willemstad is not the only place where you can shop. There are many small shopping malls on Curacao where you can look around in the many different shops.

Carnival



The Curaçao Carnival is a lively and colorful event that takes place annually on the island. The celebration is held in the weeks leading up to Lent, typically in February or March, and is one of the largest and most popular events in Curaçao. The carnival is a celebration of music, dance, and costumes, with participants donning vibrant and elaborate costumes, and dancing to the beat of local music in the streets. The event is filled with parades, live music, and food stalls, making it a vibrant and festive experience.



Ostrich Farm



The Curacao Ostrich Farm is one of the biggest breeding farms outside Africa which offers you the change of a lifetime to come and watch, feed or ride these fascinating birds.
